some spazz monkey....

He's a dog!

He can be serious...

Introspective....

Crazy....

Gets into everything...(after the bubblegum)

Yes...that is a sharpie pen and that is the clean laundry on the couch...

He made this by running around....He grabs yarn out of my bag...

A dirty sock is his favorite thing:

Football can mess you up!

the 16 year old broke his hand at Football practice yesterday...poor guy! They are on a winning streak too. They practice really hard. He has what he calls "turf burns" all over arms and legs...but they are awful scrapes....He's tough! Just look at him! I wonder what he is going to be for halloween? He gets his cast tomorrow.....

Luke and Seth

I looked out the window....the kitchen window

husband on the ladder...

huh? what?

The other day someone stole the neighbors Mcain/Palin sign. (It wasn't me)

So the neighbor took out their old Bush/Cheney sign and put it up! (oh yeah..that's a good idea!)

But it didn't last long...it was gone the next day....

random things....

Luke had a sucker in his mouth and said...."this sucker is going to take all night to lick...who's going to stay up with me"...I said "bite it..that's what I do."

Seth said to me.."there's a man behind you." in the living room ...freaked me out! He was just kidding.

Elizabeth is playing the trumpet in the jazz band at school.

Joe (kid) did a load of dishes before he went to school....without being asked.

Carson just told me he wants to be a roman gladiator for Halloween in 2 days...

Jake broke his hand and just broke up with girlfriend...

Seth asked me to read him a book tonight..but I told it was too late and that I would read him one tomorrow... A few minutes later ...I went into the kitchen to steal my husbands apricot english muffin and heard him reading the boys a book....

Spazz monkey was on the bed and grabbed my smoothy cup from the desk and dumped it all over my bed and then ate it all.

Zipper came and sat next to me on his own...

"Hey.....the pumpkins are over there!"

Luke and Seth having fun running through the Christmas trees...

Liza looking for the perfect one...

it's a sucker not a cig...

We had a good time at the Pumpkin Patch! These pictures are from the 14 year old's camera phone! I haven't found the camera yet! I've started to pray...

Humpty Dumpty (don't google it)

freaky.....

there are some really scary humpty dumpty's out there....

BUT

Since I haven't found my camera ....yet....

Here is a picture of Humpty(a cute one) instead of my boys....

or this one...

and their Humpty Dumpty eggs. ...the Kindergartener's had a very special day last Friday. They ended their Mother Goose Studies with a bang! They each got to bring an egg to school to drop from the roof of the school. They got to wrap it in whatever they wanted to protect it from breaking.

It was 25 minutes before the bus was to come....when I remembered that it was the Humpty Dumpty day...OOPS....and we weren't ready!

Well, I do best under pressure... so at the table I threw a bunch of things for the boys to decide what to wrap their eggs in...

Seth decided to empty a square kleenex box and take out all the kleenex and then restuff it with the egg in the middle...

Luke took a tea box and filled it with cheap marshmallows (don't buy the cheap ones) and put the egg in the middle and taped the box....

They both wrote their names on a card and we taped it on the top..threw them in the backbacks and made the bus! whew! Both eggs survived the fall! I wish I had pictures...Oh Well

Talking Squirrel (it's really me)

"I was lucky to get out of there still alive"......

That is what my 14 year old son said after seeing High School Musical 3!

He added: "I am scarred for life!"
I asked them (the girl and the not twins) if they wanted to go to the movies...they said "yes" ...When I mentioned HSM3,,,they all just about threw up...
I love all the HSM movies and thought if I could just get them there... they would enjoy and I would enjoy saying "told you so." So I made them go...
But yet again I was wrong! (They do have little smiles on their faces when they tell me how horrible it was.)

"Oh... it will just pop up".......

this is one of my mantras I tell myself...when I lose something...and it usually works...

BUT the camera hasn't popped up yet...I have pictures on it of our teepee..my purple wall...my spazz puppy and kids! So since I am waiting to find it ...I thought I would post an old picture of the 4th picture from the 4th file(tag): I love random pictures...

cat fur.....

OH and another mantra I use is: "Oh... it will just poop out" in reference to the spazz puppy...and it usually does! EW GROSS!

"Are aliens good?"

That is what Luke asked me out of the blue....

I responded: "UUUHHH"

Then Seth helped me out and said: "Some are good and some are bad."

GOOD....

BAD.....

That sounds about right...

What I've heard recently...

Jake asked the puppy "Wassup?" and the puppy got really hyper...

Luke handed me his gum and said..."Mom.. someone didn't put the trashbag in the trash"...concerned with throwing it away with no bag in there.

I said (will remain nameless) "DUDE...you need to flush the toilet"......

Carson said..."Okay...it can't be like last night when you were running around".....sitting in the teepee getting ready to go to sleep

Dad telling one of the kids to put the food away... "get a baggy and bag the buns"...

The chocolate guy....

have you seen him? My 14 year old son told me there is a new Axe spray that smells like chocolate...

Chocolate?! Are you kidding me?

First of all I know the AXE deoderant doesn't work because each one of my boys says so and they stink...

Second...Boys that smell like stinky smelly chocolate?

Here is the commercial that my son saw...Can you imagine what went through his mind?

I was watching Fringe on fox.com and it was the commercial that sponsored the show... so it is the only commercial that played throughout the program...at least 10 times...

halloween costume ideas...

I am trying to get my twins to be Hole in the Wall contestants...

RED
or BLUE

They said no...but I am still trying...

If you haven't seen it yet....it's on FOX

Or hey maybe the AXE chocolate guy?

"Do you have another phone?"

At work....

I had one Senior lady come down to front desk and say her phone was broken..I called her number and it was busy..I went up to her apartment to check it out..

I checked phone #1 and there was no dial tone. I asked if she had another phone. she said "yes..in the bedroom"...I checked # 2 phone the connection and there was no dial tone........She also had an answering machine and a life line unit...I checked all the connections...and I just happened to ask her "do you have another phone"...and she said "no"...then she said "wait a minute... there is one in the bathroom"..and guess what? # 3 phone was off the hook...I fixed it.

Then another day soon after...A daughter of one of the residents called me and asked me to check on her mother... that her phone was busy.. I went up to her apt and told her what was going on and she led me into the bedroom and I checked her phone and connections and no dial tone...Since I was experienced in this situation I knew what to ask "Do you have another phone" she said "no" that this was the only one...hmmm I said and checked it again...I asked her if I could check the kitchen and she said sure (awkward moment) and I went in there and sure enough there was a phone sitting on the counter...and it was off the hook...I fixed it...The daughter then called back...

I have learned from my husband when something is broken...don't freak out...Check the obvious things first..It is probably something easy...
