I told one of my Senior ladies that I work with that I was growing out my hair...and she said "somebody else told me that and their hair looks awful." I can't remember if I already told her that...It was probably me:(

We were driving in the car....

and I was going over each one of the kids intials and explaining them. That you can go by your initials....initial things..put your initials on your luggage...

I told them that Carson's initials are "CJ" and we used to call him that every once in a while...but it never stuck...

I told them that Joe's initials are "JB" and that Daddy's are the same...

I said that Elizabeth's initials were going to be "ELF" because of a family name and she would have been the 3rd generation to have it....but instead we named her a different middle name so her initials are "EMF" instead..

Everyone laughed and started calling her ELF.... she handled it well ...because elves are cool!

We are avid readers at our house....but sometimes I do have to pay the 16 year old to read! Whenever I have bought a book..I've written our name and date and also checked each time we've read the book in the front cover...

I was talking to a sweet Senior lady who is having a hard time adjusting to all the changes...no car...moving into a small apartment...no friends around...and her dog was given away...because there are no pets allowed at new apartment..

She said she was "Hangin in there".... and I asked her if she was hanging like a cat or a monkey? Then of course I acted it out...She laughed and said she wanted to hang like a monkey and that I was making her silly....
