Have you experienced any cliques lately? This last year was really bad for me with preschool moms...

When Elizabeth went to horse camp all the Mom's seemed so down to earth and friendly...

I was trying to figure it out...why? Could it be their ages...Most horse moms were over 35.....hmmmm

It's time to get a haircut....

but I have been thinking about letting my hair grow out....

I thought I would ask my husband if I should cut my hair again or let it grow...

so, today I am getting my haircut...not the cheaper route...

Before Carson and Jake left for California to visit...I bought them both a Sudoku puzzle book and told them that I would pay them .25 cents per every puzzle they completed...I really didn't think they would do many...

But Carson informed me when he got off the plane last night that I owed him $25.50.... huh...what?

I asked Jake what I owed him and he said $1.50.....that's more like it!

I asked Carson if he was smarter now that he did so many puzzles ...and he said "yes"...well that's good.... something for my money...

Today Carson wanted to go to Game Crazy where they sell computer games etc...and I asked him if he had any money...and he said "yes...the money that you owe me"...That's right...I forgot...

Work update.....last night.....

For work I stayed again with the sleep talking lady....

In the middle of the night she seemed to have woke up from a bad dream so I went in to see how she was doing....She said "fine" and then asked me in a very deep voice a really scary question....

"Would you like some of my berries..............they are very good!"

I said:

"No, thank you...why don't you save them for later...."

Luke just got his haircut and Seth didn't want to get his....They are going to be in the same Kindergarten class in the Fall this may help the teacher...

Last night.....

I was working.... spending the night with a senior lady who has nightmares. After waking up a couple of times she finally settled into sleep...I thought we were good until she had another nightmare and woke up....we talked for a little while and then I said good night and went into the living room....

A couple minutes later she was talking again...but not to me....yikes ... It really freaked me out! She started to laugh in a very low HA HA HA HA HA...then a voice responded to the laugh and said "That is a very good laugh...I like it"....

YIKES! I was just about to get out of there...but I couldn't

.

Then after a while it got really quiet...I could see her dark room at the end of the hall...and since I watch way too many movies and TV... I really freaked myself out with...Zombies, goblins, or imagining a red marble rolling down the hallway toward me....

.

Then at 3:45 am she let out a blood curtailing scream...

Holy Crap!

But now I am home...

But guess what?

I work there again tonight!

I SMELL CHOCOLATE!

I worked 59 hours last week....I have 2 part time jobs...and the hours just collided into eachother. At one job I work the front desk at a Senior living apartment building...and one night it was very very busy with lots of things going on and I get this call from one of our Seniors...and it went something like this....made my night!

Senior Lady: "Hello, this is Betty ______in room___. I smell chocolate!"

Me: "Hmmm, really? chocolate?" (Once I register that it was chocolate and not smoke, I relax a little bit)

Betty: "Yes, chocolate...Is the kitchen baking chocolate cakes tonight?"

Me: "Hmmmm, no...the kitchen is closed right now."

Betty: "Really, because it really smells like chocolate cakes."

Me: "Hmmm, well is there anything I can do for you?"

Betty: "mmm....no..... I just smell chocolate....one of my neighbors must be baking a chocolate cake."

Me: "OK....well have a good night..."

Betty: OK...you too honey..."

Me: "Bye"

Betty: "Bye"

Some laundry fell to the floor from the couch and Luke started laughing....

I asked him what was soooo funny and he held up my bra and laughed uncontrollably and then Seth started laughing and then I couldn't help it...bras are pretty funny!

The other night we were driving home from the movies and almost hit a dog on a very busy street....We were close to home but by the time we got there I had to go back to see if we could find the dog...(once we drove by a cat attacking a baby duck and we didn't do anything...it was probably too late...but from then on I know I have to stop and help because I felt so bad..)

Joe turned down the side street where we had first seen him and there he was smack dab in the middle of the road with cars coming the other way...I got out of the car and talked baby talk to him and he came right up to me...I grabbed him and got back in the car...

We got back home and notice he was blind. So here is a picture of him...he spent the night and then went back to his owner the next day....

Kid: 3 Mom: 0

I know I've had this conversation at least 3 times and I still have not won it...





Kid: "Mom, me found the cape to Dooku"


Mom: "No, I found it"...(proper use of pronoun)



Kid: "No...me found it!"


Mom: "No, when you find something you say "I found it" (at this point he thinks that I think that I find everything)



Mom continues: "Look....I found Yoda or I found the car"....



Kid: gives confused look....



Mom: "Who found it?"



Kid: "Me."





by the way....Count Dooku is a bad guy that Yoda fights

Cuckoo for Coco Roos....

For Father's Day I was ready to make a beautiful omelet for joe's breakfast in bed......cheese...onions...bell pepper...etc
But I decided to ask him what he wanted and he said "Coco Roos!" So I made a bowl... that was easy!

the 16 year old has a girlfriend....

and finished the 2nd book in Twilight Series....New Moon...

having a "green" lawn....

Today on the radio the topic of having a "green" lawn came up....a "green" lawn meaning environmentally responsible lawn not the color green...hmmm interesting.

I googled and here are some ideas...why try to re-write it?

The movie has some really funny parts....but the relentless crude and offensive parts are not worth the funny....
