Off to fly....

We are going to go to the zoo today....I think I will wear my Hi-Tec hiking instead of my Nikes...They are more comfortable....(did I just say that?)
I love these Hi-Tec shoes....they are like a hiking boot without the high back...I highly recommend them....
I have fond memories...
of my Indian friends (from India). We had a discussion on how it is okay to call them Indians. I miss all of them! They are all back in India now....They are so easy to talk too and you can say anything to them.... I love that!

These are my husband's 3 chocolate wrappers. He loves Dove milk chocolate (If I was chocolate, I would be Dove milk chocolate!)

THis is also my husband's computer....he is so nice to let me use it (it's a laptop)

I know I drive him crazy....like I don't know if he realized yet that I have been saving picture files and replacing the 1st letter with a "Z" so it is easier to find....example..this picture file is named "zomputer"....the piano picture is named "ziano" my favorite is "zanana" (do you know what that one is?) Zunday, Zuper day, zug and zusband(that one was really easy to find) are some more....

I couldn't sleep.... 5:30 is an awful time to accidently wake up.....if I fell back to sleep, I'd have to get up soon.....

Little baby black shoes
These are the boys shoes for Sunday....I wanted to take a picture of them because ......I absolutely love them....and they are growing out of them...
They are Velcro...A gift to Mothers!
They cost 2.99 each at Target!!! It never happens where I can find shoes that are on clearance and where there are actually 2 pairs of them....One of my Lucky Days!!!
We were at a wedding reception in Yakima last Winter and the hotel we were staying at had a snowy slope just right outside the sliding glass door (1st floor). The kids were sliding down on trays and one of the boys lost his shoe.....We looked all over...couldn't find it..
Finally, we had to leave but I decided I had to look one more time....and I found it!!!Yeah....I think it would have affected me for the rest of my life...wondering where it was....it was in the middle of a bush...
TO bad I didn't line this picture up a little bit better....THE PUG follows me around...wondering "why is she taking a picture of those....me?"

I just found out that...
the book I am reading is yet another book that disses organized religion and the divinity of Jesus Christ.....I am so sick of this trend...I guess I have to throw it away...
A few years ago I read "The Golden Compass" books....(that I got from a scholastic book fair).....which they are now making a movie out of starring Nicole Kidman....It was mesmerizing...I loved the Polar Bear....but the book had some disturbing, not so subtle things in it about religion, The author seemed to be a atheist trying to plant seeds....(I should find the exact excerpts) but I don't have the book anymore...BUT this is a kids/early teen novel...SCARY
I have some friends whose kids read like crazy. Their daughter and I talked about books a lot and she had also read them....We talked about it and I said that I didn't like the books in some ways and why....she agreed....
What are your kids reading? Yikes.....

My husband is going to love this....
I tried really hard last week to get the house clean.....(didn't happen) there is just too much!!!
If I could design a house, the central room would be the laundry room and off of that would be each persons closet and them off of that would be their rooms.....can you picture it??? I'll try to draw a picture...

"You should never's"......have actually happened!!!! Someone (most likely the same person)has actually said or done these things.... Looking back, I guess they are pretty funny(not the drinking and driving one with my kids in the car!).....
I'm not sure if "You should never" is the best way to vent or express.....I thought about using "Have you ever had someone"....... or if "Can you believe" or "Isn't it obvious that......is wrong to do"......hmmmm

You should never.....
take kids(especially one who just finished the DARE program) on a outing to a champagne brunch boat ride.....drink alcohol...and then drive them back home......that is called "drinking and driving".......denial is bad...

I have some issues....I am trying to work through.....Over half my life I have had some interesting experiences with some people........I haven't ever really said anything, except for about 2 years ago.....When all hell broke loose.. and they said some really horrible things about me....my family.....my kids....and how they really felt....(I had no idea)........(talking bad about kids is evil)
I would have liked it to have worked out(I probably would have accepted an apology if it was with a true heart), it is probably too late for this life.....but I guess I am counting on the afterlife(should that be capitalized?).... Although there, I will probably wish we had worked it out here...hmmm
If I could do it all over again, I would have said more and much sooner.....So that is interesting..... I think I was too naive.......hopeful........Not aware of the strong undercurrent of hate they had for me... (I had no idea)
Time does heal....or makes it easier to take.....
From this experience........ I know what kind of old person I want to be.........and how to treat others well...and how it is important to be able to say your sorry...which they are uncapable of doing...I guess because they aren't...because they think they are perfect.....

get mad at someone who doesn't send you a thank you note....Or innuendo to them that they haven't...or say "It is soooo nice to get a thank you from you" after they actually hand you one...
If you do, you need to ask yourself why are you giving them gifts...are you giving them something so they have to give you a thank you....that is a control issue...I actually saw this on Dr. Phil one time....
Don't get me wrong...it is important to say thank you....but when you give a gift you need to give freely and not have attachments to it...Also, I don't think you should remember everything you have given a person...and then recite all those things back to them....that is rude!!!!

Irish Blessing
One evening we enjoyed walking down the beach....It was beautiful....It wasn't until we had to turn around and make our way back did we realize that the wind had been at our backs...Now we had to brave through the sandy wind......
